Instrument gauges (gas and oil) go off and on. Seem to activate when door locks keep locking. Radio goes dead. Air conditioning quits working. I have to take off negative battery cable to get things to work again, but only for two days. I see two complaints of 2004 Tahoe's having this same problem. Communication problem with computer and instrument panel. Was wondering what the fix is? Do I have to check wiring from instrument panel to computer? My mechanic says don't send in instrument panel as it is a waste of time and money.
