I purchased a 2005 Chevy Tahoe on February 20, 2009. On July 27th the fan inside the vehicle continued to run after ignition was shut off. After disconnecting the battery and reconnecting the next day, the odometer reset to 99,000 and the speedometer stopped working. With so many people having this same problem, why do I have to come out of pocket with this. The dealership charged me $418.40 for the parts and $290.90 for the labor. That is $709.30 that I don't have right now. Is there something I can do to get a break. I don't mind paying, but I think I'm being taken advantage of because I'm a woman.
