At any given time the rear swing up tail gate and the rear swing up window in the tailgate will lock and there seems to be no way to unlock them. The door switch and remote are both useless.
This is particularly frustrating when you have placed something in the rear portion of the vehicle that is too large to fit through the side doors. There is simply no way to remove the item until the tail gate decides to unlock, which can be in hours or days, you never know.
The only sure fire way I have found to get the tail gate open is to take it to a mechanic. All I have to do is pull into the lot and get the mechanic to come out to look and both the door and window open perfectly every time, making me look and feel extremely foolish.
It's an evil Tahoe bent on making my life miserable as I never know when or where the problem will occur, and cannot get it fixed because I cannot duplicate the problem in front of a mechanic.
All the other doors lock and unlock flawlessly.
