The head rest in the third row seat is broken and will not remain in the up position when the seat is up. This is causing a safety risk in that there is no safety for passengers in a rear end collision. There is already a recall that Chevrolet has issued for other Tahoe vehicles; however, my VIN number has not been added to that recall. I am requesting to have my vehicle's VIN number added to the already existing recall.
3rd row headrest- not staying upright was recalled prior to current condition not upright 2nd row seat- adjustment cable broken no longer working Transmission- pump and valve body failed required replacement
My vehicle is experiencing the same issue with the Third Row Headrests as outlined in a prior service bulletin (N202316750) for the same model year and make vehicle. My VIN number was not included in the bulletin, but I believe it should have been. The passenger side third row headrest will no longer stay up when the seat is engaged.
The indicator light 'Service Safety Restraint System' beeps and comes on about every 5 minutes when driving. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. There is no rhyme or reason for why it happens.

Vehicle is displaying service safety restraint system error message which may affect airbag deployment. Dealer advised problem from GM with a harness being too short under seat and seat adjustment can disconnect SRS system which could fail during an accident. Advised no recall but repair parts were not currently available.
