Summary
THIS PRELIMINARY INFORMATION COMMUNICATION PROVIDES INFORMATION TO THE TECHNICIAN HOW TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR VEHICLE THAT MAY HAVE A RATTLE, ITCH OR TAPPING NOISE COMING FROM THE CENTER OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AREA WHILE DRIVING. THE CAUSE MAY BE AN ENGINE WIRING HARNESS MAKING CONTACT WITH A DOWEL PIN ON THE FORWARD BULKHEAD. TECHNICIAN WILL REMOVE THE ENGINE COVER AND LOCATE THE ENGINE HARNESS. INSPECT FOR A HOLDING CLIP THAT SECURES THE ENGINE HARNESS TO THE FUEL LINE BRACKET. TECHNICIAN WILL INSTALL A HOLDING CLIP TO REMOVE THE SLACK IN THE HARNESS.
