CarComplaints.com Notes: The Trailblazer emerged from an "upscale trim line" of the Blazer, but there's nothing upscale about its transmission problems or its wonky, unpredictable headlights.

The drivers seat control stopped working. Chevy dealer price for control module is ridiculous. Put in a used one, now this one quit, and the seat is all the way forward.

Trailblazer LS V6

Just finished paying off my "02 Chevy Trailblazer and I was happier than ever! I love my car, but i am very disappointed in the problems that are now surfacing in several areas of my vehicle. Most importantly, the "check engine" light which is always re-occurring. I have had a hard time financially and this problem seems to never go away. As we speak, my car is in the shop because first I couldn't lock and unlock the back trunk by pressing the usual lock button. Eventually it was the rest of the car locks, and finally the whole drivers side electrical panel has shut down. I cant control my windows or locks AT ALL. In the past, I have also had problems with the brake and stop lights, having to repeatedly replace them because they were always going out. Lastly, I have had to buy new tires every year because some how the alignment on these cars can only do so much for our tires. They are always wearing out much too fast, even with appropriate maintenance, and alignments. The guy at Sears said, "these cars seem to always wear out their tires faster." ( How lovely!) I'm glad I finished paying off my car (which cost me more than $30,000 by the way), because I will be needing A LOT of extra cash to fix these problems!!!!
