I received my title in the mail as I was getting my second opinion on my failing transmission. This was my first new car and it has been the biggest piece of CRAP ever. I will never buy a chevy product again.

Trailblazer EXT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 73,000 miles

This vehicle is a secondary, and has approximately 73000 miles. I had taken my vehicle to the shop for service before taking a road trip, on the way back from my trip my transmission began slipping...could not figure out why when I had just got the green light from the shop that everything was in good order. I did file against the shop and they have denied any wrong doing, researched the transmission problem and it appears to be a product defect as many people are complaining of transmission problems when they too have low mileage. At this point I don't think I will ever buy Chevy again. No power train warranty on this vehicle b/c it was not available until years later. Chevy, you must have known you had made a faulty product that is what motivated the power train warranty I am sure. I am so disgusted as I do not have the money to fix the problem. Glad it isn't my primary vehicle or I would be totally screwed. Now I am just paying for insurance and tags for a vehicle that I have parked until I can get the money to fix what Chevy knows is wrong and refuses to make right! Ugh, never again! Need a new torque converter according to the shop it was at costing about 2k.

Trailblazer LT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 92,000 miles

This is absolutely insane that a transmission failed at 92,000 miles. We still owe $6,000 on this piece of crap. I am about ready to tell GMAC to come get their piece of crap. They will have to have it towed. It does not run!!! He,He,He.

Trailblazer LS 4.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

With 90K miles on the vehicle, the transmission failed on a trip from Illinois to Arizona. It took Chevy 4 days and $2700 to rebuild the transmission. 12 mo./12000 mi. warranty. LOW AND BEHOLD on 12/31/2009 the REBUILT TRANSMISSION FAILED!!!!!!! GM would not give a goodwill warranty, even though it was only 30 days out. I did cost this particular Chevy dealership a few customers that night. OUR SOLUTION to this and all the other problems with this piece of crap Trailblazer was to BUY A TOYOTA TUNDRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On January 2, 2010 (the next day after purchasing the Toyota), we traveled the 100 miles to the dealership which the Trailblazer had to be towed to with a car carrier. We loaded up the Trailblazer on the carrier and towed it around the Chevy dealership behind our NEW TOYOTA TUNDRA before bringing back to where we live to trade it in!
