CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2002-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer is known for many things, but perhaps it is most famous for its faulty fuel gauge.

This gauge flip-flops more than a politician during election season. Some report that the gauge says "empty" after a fill-up, while others report the gauge says "full" when they're running on fumes. Either way, there's one thing everyone seems to agree on: the darn thing is just wrong.

Following hundreds of complaints and a few accidents allegedly caused by the malfunction, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the issue in May 2011. Unfortunately for frustrated owners, no recall has been announced.

You wonder why you should buy Japanese or Korean cars. Look at the Trailblazer. Blower motor failure. blower motor resistor burnout, wiring harness burnout, Driver door loss of power, driver door switch burnout, dash lights all frigged up, radio does not work, interior and exterior lights have a mind of their own.

LET'S BAIL OUT ANOTHER JUNK BUILDER....Why no recalls?

We are afraid to take our own truck on a trip for fear of needing towing or burning up.

Fed up!!!!! Where are the @*&#@ing RECALLS?

Trailblazer LS 4.2L

Just recently the drivers side door randomly looses power, no p.windows, no p.locks and remote does not open drivers side door, have to enter through another door and physically unlock drivers door. Does not do all the time but happening more frequently. Ive noticed that when it does do it; if I turn engine off and open the door and try again sometimes all goes back to normal. Today I did that and when I opened the door (radio should go off upon opening) it did not, after a few seconds it seemed to kick-in and turned off! Then everything functioned properly. This is completely random and annoying! Ive since been reading alot on these vehicles and am VERY worried!! I think GM has MAJOR problems with quality! Then they jerk people around leaving them hanging with some serious problems...why didnt we let them fall?

the drover side door has no power. the power lock and windows don't work on the driver side door. the remote keyless entry does not control the drivers side door. there are controls on the door for all the windows but they don't work either. the other doors controls work however.
