CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2002-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer is known for many things, but perhaps it is most famous for its faulty fuel gauge.

This gauge flip-flops more than a politician during election season. Some report that the gauge says "empty" after a fill-up, while others report the gauge says "full" when they're running on fumes. Either way, there's one thing everyone seems to agree on: the darn thing is just wrong.

Following hundreds of complaints and a few accidents allegedly caused by the malfunction, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the issue in May 2011. Unfortunately for frustrated owners, no recall has been announced.

THESE VEHICLES ARE A PIECE OF SH*T!. I have a 2005 Trailblazer I have had for a year and a half I did buy it used..it had 48,000 miles..it now has 70,000 and there has been over 6,000 thousand dollars in repairs already, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, TRANSMISSION,.now there is shaking in front end when stopping at red light or stop sign the steering column is making ALOT of noises..I just put new toyo tires on and the right tie rod end had to be fixed..now shaking is WORSE THAN EVER! the AC broke and wouldnt work on 4 or 5!..

I PAID FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY and it only covered 1,000 dollars out of over 6,000!!! I had it 3 weeks and I noticed it trying to slow down and then speed up when I went over 30mph and found out it had TRANSMISSION SEAL LEAK..i called dealership and they basically told me f*ck you stupid bitch .

problem #2

Jan 272009

Trailblazer LS 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,000 miles

The problem started suddenly missing like a spark plug was bad and check engine light came on. Chevy dealer said complete loss of pressure #1 cylinder. However this same problem happened about 2000 miles ago and the solution at that time was to replace the distributor.

Dealer said it might be cylinder #3 not working so they need to take a part whole engine, they said I might even need a new engine, I haven’t had a car for over a week what the hell that’s why I bought a new car so I wouldn’t have stupid car problems
