Trailblazer LT 4.2L V6

I was told by the tech at my local Chevy dealer that this is a computer programming module that puts the truck into a power save mode. Don't really understand why GM would do this, it makes the wipers, and the power windows very slow, among other things I'm sure.

Trailblazer LT 4.6L

  • Automatic transmission

I bought my Trailblazer September 19 and less than 3 weeks later my car would die for no reason. My RPM's and oil pressure would drop which would kill the engine. After taking it to my mechanic and the dealership, the fuel pump and ground wires have been replaced and tightened, and the problem is still happening! Was almost rear ended because of it dying on a main road and no one can figure out the problem still. As of today it has been in the shop more than it has been in my possession with still no results!

I am a single mother with a disabled son and cannot afford the repair bills, payments, tags, insurance and extended warranty! Talk about frustrated and irritated!!!

In discussing with the dealer about getting out of the car and doing a trade in, they wanted me to "eat" about a $2000 difference of which I can NOT afford! They are attempting to fix the vehicle at no charge to me but are refusing to help with a loaner leaving me stranded and my youngest out of school due to a lack of transportation.
