I was on the freeway and it was approximately 40º outside. The engine suddenly overheated so I pulled off on the next exit, let it cool down and drove the remaining 5 minutes to work in which it started overheating again. I called and had it towed in. The water pump had failed and dropped all the coolant.

Replaced both thermostat and water pump in my 2011 Chevy Traverse. Engine overheat again and blown both new parts. It caused the sealed to the thermostat melted on the engine, which had to be scrapped off. Now my engine says reduced engine power in information center.
