My headlights burn out ALL THE TIME. It's so frustrating. Close to every 8 weeks I'm changing both bulbs for my high beams. Low beams never seem to have problems. I spend the extra cash for the LED's and "best on the market bulbs", and they still never stay longer than that 2 month mark. Swear I'm spending more in bulbs than I do in gas!

headlights blow out abnormally often

Headlight bulb went out. I bought the bulb and then the guys at work couldn't figure out how to replace it

without taking out the quarter panel. Was told it is 1.5 hours billable labor and around $150 repair. TO REPLACE A HEADLIGHT BULB?!?! Not even the assembly! Just a damn bulb! Well, I went home and

gave it to my 18 year old son and he had it in in 15 minutes. He says it is an absolutely pain, but can be

done without removing the panel. The REAL problem here is they blow out every 3-4 months! I've put more headlight bulbs in this car than I did my last one in then entire time I owned it and I owned my last car 9 years and 300,000 miles! Ridiculous!

Traverse LTZ 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 116,000 miles

I was driving on the interstate at dusk last night (1 Apr 2016) and a car that had just passed me slowed back down and began flashing his lights at me. I pulled off at the next exit and discovered that my headlights would not come on in either the auto or on positions but both my high beams and parking lights work just fine, just no headlights. This is a definite safety issue.
