I have a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse LS. I bought it brand new (although the dealer drove it for the first 6,000 miles). Starting in August 2017, I began to have issues with my head lamps. Every 3 months, I have had to change the head lamps and inbetween every 4-6, I've had to change to stop lamps. The culprit: water in the housing cases. How? Not sure how I got cracks on the inside of the housing cases and the water comes in and shorts the circuit. This is becoming annoying and is not covered by my warranty. On top of this, to replace the housing it costs more than my actual car note. Because it's electrical, Onstar doesn't receive the issue warning. And the dealership is like, well the electrical parts may be covered, but not the housing. I'm tired of buying bulbs and no one can seem to have some kind of epoxy for these mysterious cracks. As hot as it is in Louisiana, I'm sure it's that because I haven't had any accidents (Thank you Jesus!) and haven't hit anything with damage to the car.
