The day after getting back from a 2300 mile family road trip, the engine seized up while attempting to park at the bank just running an errand. Had to get it towed, and the dealer had it fixed 2 days later. Guess I am lucky it didn't happen out on that trip with the family... Good thing I had the extended warranty, otherwise it would've been $1200-1300.
It was a long trip, but it was 90% cruise control, and we used re-circulate within the cabin to tax the AC less. Just a bad part that Chevy won't update since it's an older model already.
It starts/turns over a little hard still. I'm going to call the dealer back and ask them to be fully sure they've fixed everything.
1st and last Chevy, this one already had a couple AC components replaced and covered under the manufacturer's warranty in 2019.
