3 fuel injection were leaking. has to be replaced. It was discovered while the they remove and replaced intake manifold gasket- lower.

It did not start in hot weather. Coolant leak. It must be fixed otherwise the engine will be gone. I have a warranty for a year or 20k.

This has happened twice now. The great redesigned gaskets lasted 50K miles only !!

Have to dump the vehicle which is a shame because otherwise it has been very good.

But now the front wheel bearings are bad, another common problem with these Ventures.

My Venture heats up when idling or not moving. The problem is the &$*# Dex-cool Coolant!!!! That is the cause of all of the gasket failures, etc. When the engine gets hot (from motoring), the Dex-cool actually erodes away at the gaskets inside the engine. If we would have all known about this when we first bought our Ventures, we would have all left the car dealer's lot, gone straight to a place and had a "flush and fill" done to removed all the Dex-cool coolant and replace it with a universal coolant. Then we wouldn't have these gasket issues!!!! I am SO MAD!!!

Another 3.4 issue. i took to mechanic and told him it heats up if you are not moving and it reeks like coolant. He said intake gasket. he said known problem for that engine.
