I had filled the gas tank, then when I was stopped on a down ward slope, the needle dropped to E & the low fuel light came on & took forever to go off. It took me having to drive a while to get it off. It still does this. When I asked a garage how much it would cost to fix it, they said it would be EXPENSIVE because they would probably have to drop the gas tank to work on it. Now, I have to watch my mileage & just hope I get gas before I run out & get stranded.
