On Nov 7 2016 at roughly 7pm, I was heading West on the 10 freeway location 34.065990, -117.993771, baldwin park, ca. Traffic started to slow to 45 mph then came to a sudden stop and I was the last one in the 4 car collision. My airbags did not deploy and. I feel that the brakes may be faulty for when I stepped on them as hard as I could it seemed to be more of a skipping stop. For the littlest bump feels like ur hydroplaning to a stop. Chrysler never informed me of any recall about the airbags though I felt they should of deployed. My car was in the shop till March so I havent had it back but a few months.
The air bag & seat belt tensioner may not deploy, replacement of occupant restraint controller is required. It's been over 6 months with no remedy provided by Chrysler, this is unsatisfactory. Our airbag lights are on. We got notified by the dealership of the recall. But this matter regarding the wheel bearings is a serious matter. I've repaired my car 5 times all around the car. That's not normal. All of these vehicles have a similar issue in the rear end where when I'm driving and hit a bump, the rear end shifts left or right.

On September of 2016, I received a recall notice stating that the potential loss of airbag and seat belt pretensioner deployment during a crash may increase the risk of injury. It also stated that when a remedy and parts were available, I would be notified. I have been driving this car for 7 months (probably for 5 years, since I purchased it new) without this needed protection, and there has been no notification yet. When can I expect Chrysler to correct this problem?

I got into a car accident in may of 2016. My air bags did not deploy, as they should have given the speed I was going. I also was not notified of this recall until later that year. I have called and checked online to see when the parts would be in to have the recall issue solved and I have been told they do not have an eta and the parts aren't available.
