Took my car in when clicking started and was told to just let it click, because they would have to take the dashboard all apart.

I am a fairly new owner of a Chrysler as well, just under 2 years and I began hearing a clicking noise when the vent turned on hear in Miami Florida where it is extremely hot. I 'YOUTUBE' the inquiry and found amazing results and complaints, wondering if my whole dashboard needed to be taken out or it would just slide right in underneath the right passenger side glove compartment area, once removed and cost me $34.99.

Three months later, My vehicle began stalling when I started it up and I began calling for roadside assistance (which is free through my insurance carrier); however, I have not had the vehicle that long. I was very unhappy because I really admired my car. I replaced my brakes one day at the auto shop and they advised that I needed a new battery as well, the entire left wheel needs to come off to get to the battery; therefore, my bill went exceedingly higher than expected, due to the added unexpected labor and now $200 battery added on. I knew it was due to this heat actuator. Amazingly, when I left the auto shop the clicking sound was no longer clicking (I have no idea why, nor for how long.......).

>>>I truly believe that the ONLY way to get this to become a 'recall' is for owners of Chryslers to BE HEARD~ WARN OTHERS OF THIS ISSUE WITH THESE TYPE OF VEHICLES ~ This would hit Chrysler where it truly hurts and cause chaos...we should be on popular websites & SOCIAL MEDIA (FACEBOOK!!!!! etc...) WE ARE ON THE WRONG WEBSITE......while they are making 'Sales'

There's a clicking noise on the passenger side glove box area. I am able to replicate it when I change the vents the air comes out of (from Top vents to Bot vents and vice versa) After I change it, it make a clicking noise and takes a long time 10-30 seconds to change which vents I switch to. Definitely annoying, especially when it's the first thing you hear when you turn on the car to get the AC going. I haven't tested if it happens with heat, but I assume the same result....

I've tried pulling the glove box out and reaching my hand further in to see if I can feel where it's at, but no luck. Anyone have a fix or know what the issue is with this? I've read some things about A/C & Heat actuators which is sort of what I'm thinking the problem is. Any help would be appreciated!
