The problem started as soon as I bought the car. People kept flashing brights at me, and I could not understand why. Turns out my headlights were out of adjustment, and I went back to Hatch motors within a week and was told that they were not adjustable, they were pre-set at the factory, there could not be anything wrong. This went on until one day I was driving just at dusk, about Oct 2015, and my right headlight just went out. So I pulled into a place with a big wall and saw that my left headlight was still on, but the right one was pointed at the ground. So Verger Chevrolet was still open, just, and I went over and they "adjusted" the headlights, both, and finally explained about shutter headlights. I called Chrysler Corp. the next day and got a CAIR started and it went downhill from there, as Eric, the desk clerk, thought I was attacking him when I went back and tried to make an appointment to get the headlights repaired. Thereafter he treated me badly. He said that nothing could be done about the lights, as they had adjusted them as much as they could. So I called Chrysler back and when I spoke to the woman who was handling my CAIR she was very upset and said that Chrysler would not repair the lights because both would have to be replaced and it would cost $1500 under warranty. I found out that the headlights cross at 30 feet in front of me when I was driving at night in the fog and could see them actually crossing, hitting oncoming traffic right in the eyes, and lighting up each opposite side of the rode, but not showing much beyond 30 feet ahead.

Chrysler refused to do anything about this, and I got an attorney, who also had a hard time, as Chrysler really resisted standing behind the product or honoring the $3100 lifetime warranty that I had purchased when I bought the car. I love the car. It hugs the road on curves, is easy to handle, gets 22 to 28 mpg, only needs routine servicing, and I guess I am going to have to replace the headlights with something else. Since I don't know how to do it, that is going to cost me.

I got a settlement from Chrysler and they bought back the lifetime warranty but only gave me 30% on it, and they never honored it once. They were supposed to also buy back the free servicing that they agreed to give me for I think seven years, but now they won't. I do not think I will ever buy Chrysler again. Now I see that the RAM trucks that I thought so much of have a serious problem, and Chrysler won't fix that, either.

You cant see the road at all with just the low beams on. You have to turn on the brights and they have weird coverage of the road

Extremely dangerous to drive on any winding rural roads or city roads at night. Chrysler really messed up with this one. Very disappointed, now all I hear from the wife is that we should have bought the Ford.

THE HEADLIGHT ON MY 2013 CHRYSLER 2OO ARE SO BAD THAT YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING AT NIGHT LET ALONE THE ROAD. I LIVE IN EAST TENN. THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT THE NEW CAR I WENT FOR A RIDE OVER THE SMOKIES, AND ON THE WAY BACK, IT GOT DARK. WELL YOU GUESS IT I HAD TO TAIL GATE THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SO I WOULD KNOW WHERE THE ROAD WAS. AND I REALL MEAN THAT. I TOLD THE SERVICE DEPT. WHERE I GOT THE CAR AND I WAS TOLD THEY KNEW THAT THEIR WAS A PROBLEM, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. SO I CALL THE CHRYLSER COMPANY AND TRY TO TELL THEM, YOU GUESSED IT, THEY BLEW ME OFF.

The new design of the headlamps is dangerous. On low beams there is a dark shadow with a very marked line that inhibits clear vision from the hood to about 40ft. It is a fixed line that dips with the movement of the car. Anything in the road in that shadowed area poses a severe risk of causing an accident. At 40mph you traverse that 40ft in seconds.

We were told by dealership that there is nothing they can do. The service dept said there are shields that drop down over the top half of the bulb when you turn on your low beams. That is what causes the dark area.

I certainly will sue them for the dangerous design if I have a wreck caused by this problem.

We spoke to the manager and the service department, there only solution offered was to turn on the fog lamps, like that will place enough light 40ft from hood.
