When braking, I can feel the transmission downshifting, I am hoping this is not an issue where the transmission is going out. Other than braking and downshifting, the car performs flawlessly.

You can feel the car down-shifting when coming to a stop. The faster you stop the worse it gets. Will be telling the dealer about this the next time the car goes for service. However I already know the dealer won't be able to duplicate the problem. Story of my life!
