The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the driver-??s side headlight failed to function as intended. The message "Headlight not Working" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic; however, no cause for the failure was found. The driver-??s side headlight was replaced; however, several days later, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger-??s side headlight failed to function as intended. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. However, no cause for the failure was found. On a separate occasion, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission failed to shift as needed. While the shift button was moved to reverse(R), the reverse(R) light failed to illuminate, and an abnormal dinging sound was coming from the vehicle. The message "Transmission Issues" was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle failed to move while in reverse. The contact stated that the failure was predominant during cold weather. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the transmission sensor clusters had failed. The dealer reprogrammed the Powertrain Control Module and the Transmission Control Module. However, the failure persisted. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V529000 (POWER TRAIN); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
2015 Chrysler 200. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle passenger and driver window visibility problems. The consumer stated there was a fog on the window that was difficult to remove. The side windows were also difficult to see out of due to the fog. The rear windshield was difficult to see out of when it rained, there is no way to wipe it.
