When I bought the car it had approx.106k miles. After fill ups the car would stall and have bad fumes until you ran 25mi or so.This went on for a long time I just wouldn't fill it up. Finally found there was a TSB for this that would replace the tank for free(it was VIN specific) my car qualified. This in my opinion is discriminatory, what difference does the VIN make if another car has the same symptoms as mine ?? About 6 mos. after the tank was replaced I started getting strong gas odor after every fill up . I just didn't have the time to go back to the dealer until about 7mos. after it started.Guess what the dealer said "warranty was only for 1yr." To this day I still have the smell on fill up.
Its interesting that the original tank was warranted 3yr. or 36k miles and the replacement was for only 1yr. even Chrysler doesn't have much faith in their products or concern for their customers while they drive around in a Malotov on wheels !!!!
