CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2006 is the worst year for PT Cruiser engine complaints. Having an engine light on is annoying, but it's the complaints about the engine shutting-off while driving that really have us concerned.

Fun little car. At 31,000 miles (7 years) both front wheel bearings failed and had to be replaced.

Great, until at 52,000 it happened again on drivers side. Now at 62,000 bearings making noise again. Time to replace them again.

This is definitely not right. Chrysler refused to discuss it at 31,000 miles and again at 2nd failure. This is definitely a problem with this car that needs to be made right.
