my chrysler pacifica Van is only 2 years old plus. for the first year i had no problems. then towards the end of 2019 i stat experiencing short stalls and acceleration. it happens out of the blue. first day it happened i was on the freeway and thought id had a heart attack with a runaway vehicle. its a heart stopping experience as it continues that week to stall and accelerates. like i said it started in short intervals. maybe once a day and when i;t continued that week i felt that something is actually very wrong with this van. i called in an appointment n tool it in. i explained in detail to Ken Garth service dept what happened. at the end of the day service dept called and advised they couldnt find anything wrong with the van. i explained i wsnt making it up. and sso they kept it again overnight so they can run some engine tests. next day received a phone call stating engine tested fine. I took my vehicle home.

The next month or so it started again. This time a little more harder than before. I called in an app but was cxld as I had a trip out of town.

This week yesterday 01/29/2020, I almost had an accident. Was driving home from work n as I turned in to a grocery store parking lot, the van suddenly did a quick stall and accelerated so fast I had no control over the breaks. I had to swerve to miss a stop sign and finally came into a stop. That was the worst episode ever. I'm glad this is going on record here coz if anything happens or if I get into a accident due to whatever the existing problems are with this van. Someone at Chrysler will have to be responsible. Today 01/30/2020 happened again as I drove to work.everytime this happens it scares the @&$@& outta me. This is scary. I'm calling Ken garth again tomorro and I'll take my car in on nxt available appointment.

Driving in the Costco parking lot rolling forward. My foot was not on the accelerator or on the brake. We were traveling at about 10 mph. The car suddenly accelerated to 20 mph, it felt as if we had been rear ended, as the acceleration was so dramatic. The acceleration only lasted for approximately one second, and the car slowed down when I pressed the brake. Over the next few days, it did it several more times while my wife was driving. I’ve taken it to the dealer, and they said that the computer has generated multiple error codes. However, they’ve been unable to interpret the errors so far. They have said that the car is not yet safe to give back to me yet. The service manager, who I credit with being thorough, is going to drive it around for a day to see if he can reproduce the situation.
