I had JUST put in a new radiator. Then about a month later, it wouldn't turn on. Ignition would click. So we changed out the starter. When that didn't work we checked the alternator, that was fine. So we checked the battery, dead. Got a new one. Put it in, worked great for 2 days, then died again. Tried to recharge, nothing, a dud. Took back got a new one. The new one worked for 2 days, then dead again. We then figured it was a fuse or switch. Nope. We finally changed out the TIPM, worked for 2 days, then DEAD AGAIN. Thinking we got a bad one, we got another one, nope, car went dead again after a couple days. Took to dealership for diagnostics test, they said it was TIPM, paid $400 for them to tell me the same thing we knew already. So we changed out one more time. Worked for a couple days so I bought NEW TIRES thinking this is it! We finally got her going! $450 and 2 days later she's dead again!!! I was DONE!! She died with 214K miles! I loved her so much! She's been sitting on my driveway for the past 14 months because I don't know what to do with her. She's a brat but she's keeping the burglars away when me and hubby aren't home. That's her job. I don't know what to do.

It started with the dash lights going out, then the wipers would hesitate and stutter. Hazardous during a heavy rain for sure. Windows will roll down but then hesitate going up. Car will turn over but not start sometimes. These are all symptoms of the TIPM failure. In researching what to do I came upon the class action lawsuit but the 2008 Chrysler Sebring is not included, only the 300. I have already replaced a wiper motor which wasn't the problem and I'm sure after reading all the complaints that the TIPM is the problem.
