We purchased a used 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Touring model mini van March 30th, 2015. At that time, everything worked fine. 1 1/2 months later, the VES system stopped working & won't even come on. We bought this van mainly for our grandchildren, so that we are traveling with them, they would have something to occupy them. Now that it doesn't work, it bothers me tremendously.
Has anyone else had this issue/ From other statements I have read online, many customers have had to pay $800- $1200 to get this situation fixed, which I don't have. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran on a fixed income, otherwise I would have bought a newer model van. If anyone knows how to fix this problem without going to the dealer, I would greatly appreciate it. I am very mechanically inclined.
