Takata recall the van we have key control is messed up it won't operate. The battery didn't start up we tried many time we even took it to be repaid on many occasions but to no prevail. They say it's not the battery but the car it's self. The electrical controls are messing up when it works lights will turn off and on when we don't even touch them. The car engines is the problem and we try very hard to deal with it but now it is turning into a burden and hazard when we drive. We tried talking to the independent dealership but they won't listen and keep hanging

Vehicle randomly shuts off while driving. I was driving during the day, straight, on a city street. Vehicle turned of and I lost all breaks and power steering. I took it to a dealership and they told me they couldn't find anything wrong. I have 5 kids and can't be using a vehicle that may or may not just shut off while driving

Several times the engine has suddenly turned off while driving on city streets around 25-30 mph, causing immediate loss of all power, e.g. brakes, steering, etc. And causing high probability for accidents to occur. This is a serious safety issue that has potential to result in serious injury to driver, passengers, other drivers and pedestrians. There have been multiple Chrysler recalls associated with this electrical issue, related to our specific model year (2010); however, we have not been notified by them. When inquiring in the past, we have been told that our particular VIN is not part of the recall. But the issue has now occurred at least 5 times, most recently on Aug. 29, 2016.

2010 Town and country can has been stalling while driving the steering locks as well as the breaks. It usually happens when I'm going between 20 to 35 mph.iit will completely die in the middle of the street and the worst is crossing a busy intersection! I have taken it to several mechanics and unable to find the problem some of them just ignore this dangerous problem. It has shut off in the middle of rush hour with my kids in the van. There has been several Town and country van owners with the same problem. When will Chrysler Corp or anyone going to address this issue before someone gets killed? this has been an on going problem since last year with no help!

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. While driving various speeds, the engine shut off. The vehicle was pulled over and restarted. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer who stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the ignition key needed to be replaced. The failure was not remedied. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.

My family purchased a 2010 Chrysler Town and country in November 2014. The vehicle seemed to drive normally until sometime at the beginning of 2015 (I can always get exact dates of service) when it began to stall while driving. The stalling typically happens at low speeds ' less than 35 mph. It has stalled once in a 40 mph zone, but more often than not it happens on a residential street with a speed limit of 25 mph or less. As the vehicle stalls, the traction control light flashes and the power steering goes out. The car becomes unmanageable, and the only option for the driver is to attempt to pull over, come to a complete stop, place the vehicle in park, and restart. We have taken the car into the dealership a few times and once to an auto repair business unaffiliated with Chrysler. None of the technicians who have seen the car can diagnose the issue. They have tried to remedy the problem, but the repairs that were made were only guesses and did not fix the vehicle. We have another appointment with charlie's on August 1. this was the earliest 'one of their best technicians' could see us. During this time we have also contacted the Chrysler, the manufacturer, to seek guidance. They are not able to provide any other than to tell us to reach out to the attorney general. Additionally, several websites\forums discuss this exact problem. It is not an isolated incident. Here are a few examples: www.chryslerproblems.com/trends/ www.carcomplaints.com/Chrysler/town_country/2010/engine/engine_stalls_shuts_down_while_driving.shtml www.aboutautomobile.com/complaint/2011/Chrysler/town+and+country/electrical+system

I took my van in for a simple valve change because it was using a lot of oil on 2/15/16. A week and a half later I received my van back and it stalled in front of a tractor trailer truck. Van was returned to the dealership and they claimed to repair /install new gas pump, egr valve, gaskets, crank sensors etc. I received my van back on 4/2 claiming everything was repaired. The van was no longer stalling. On 4/3 while driving on the parkway, in heavy traffic my brakes, steering wheel locked and van shut off while driving. Just missed going over the guard rail. Again took th van back to the dealership, contacted Chrysler customer service which made the dealership owner very irate. My van was in the dealership from 2/15 to June. I got the run around about we are doing everything to repair your vehicle. Guess what, it is still not repaired the van continuously stall anytime you made a hard turn. It was at the point of no return. The longer the dealership had it the worse the van got. Meanwhile all of this extra stress is starting to affect my health. I paid for a $42,000 van and even Chrysler has no idea of how to fix it. I got fed up in June and asked to have the van returned back to me. After more than 3 months they were ever so happy to return the vehicle back to me. As of now I still don't have all the receipts of exactly what was done to the van. All I know is that I would never buy another Chrysler again because of the treatment received and their uncaring attitude about the safety of the vehicle. At this point I found out that I am not the only one with this stalling issue. I feel Chrysler is aware of it and don't know how to go about correcting it. The vehicle was in the dealership at the time on 2/15 for a recall for the ignition node(R03). I don't know if the recall initiated all the action or incompetence. I have towing receipts in excess of 100 miles.

Tipm module failure. Known issue with this and other Chrysler vehicles. This is the singular part which controls the entire vehicle. When I called Chrysler to see what they would do to help, they got the part expedited for delivery, but offered nothing else to assist: No help with the rental car, no price reduction on the part or the labor to repair vehicle for a known repair issue. This was my first and my last Chrysler product purchase, and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can about how much Chrysler cares about customer service, customer satisfaction and standing behind their known defective product!!

Engine warning light keeps coming on. Injector misfire, harness keeps shorting out because it is to close to the manifold and the insulation keeps burning off. This causes the warning light to come on stating to stop driving immediately and get service. This has caused chronic replacement of wiring and injector parts happened multiple times. Started in March 2016, again in may and now June omparts used to replace. I cant afford to keep doing this, recal should be done to fix chronic problem.

Vehicle stalls without warning, typically when attempting to propel forward from a stop, but has also occurred more rarely at highway speeds. The electronic stability control and electronic throttle lights come on, power steering and brakes are affected as well. Vehicle must be turned off and restarted. Happened frequently prior to the recall fix, stopped for a period of time, and has now resumed worse than ever. So, so dangerous as I desperately fear being rear ended or T-boned if this occurs when pulling out in traffic, particularly when young children are in the vehicle. This seems to be an extremely common concern based on the complaints and needs to be resolved before someone is seriously injured or worse. Brought vehicle to dealer two weeks ago to repair, they could not replicate and no repair was completed. If you're reading this because you have a similar issue, please document it so that we can bring as much attention to this as possible in order to incite action.

While driving (highway and city) the van will die. No power steering or power brakes. It will restart, but is extremely dangerous to be traveling down the highway or making a turn and have the vehicle die. I have began maintaining a log of when this happens...6 times in just over the course of a month. Now we are driving the vehicle only when absolutely needed and it still is die this often. There is a problem here.

While driving when engine is not up to temperature, the vehicle stalls without warning. Only indication is when the stability control light comes on. There is a loss of power steering and brakes. This failure happens more frequently when in turns when the accelerator pedal is not depressed. The failure recurred intermittently once or twice a week. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed, but the cause of the failure was not found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. Mileage was 70,000

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14V373000 (air bags, electrical system); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While attempting to exceed 20 mph, the vehicle failed to shift gears and the rpms accelerated exponentially; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate along with the rpms. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Follow up to complaints# 10826063 dated 02/14/2016 and 10839895 dated 3/4/2016 (2010 Chrysler T&C limited w/4.0L engine dies unpredictably while under way). Owner called Chrysler 800# and was contacted soon after by representative from Chrysler care (customer service). She called around and found dealer in owner's proximity who had experience with problem and made appointment. Technician found no fault codes, but based on his experience replaced egr (exhaust gas recirculation) valve with one of newer and better design than what came originally from the factory. New part# 4593888-aa (valve E 140380) and 5277928 (gasket 140620). Owner drove vehicle for 500 miles with no stalling incidents, then washed, waxed and detailed it inside and out to like new condition. Owner's wife now again driving vehicle which now has 1,046 miles since repair with no further stalling incidents to date. Vehicle appears to idle smoother at stop lights, too. (the idling issue was minor, but had been with the vehicle since brand new). Vehicle now has 64,900 miles. Owner wonders if Chrysler egr valves on Town & Country engines should be recalled. This is submitted for the **possible** benefit of many others who are experiencing unexpected stalling issues. Our thanks to Chrysler care customer service department for their help. Keeping fingers crossed.

I bought my 2010 Town and country in June 2015 since having it this incident has happened about 4 or 5 times where I am driving down the street going around 20-30 miles an hr when my esp light will come on and my brakes and steering wheel lock up and the vehicle stalls until I turn the car off and restart it. After getting hung up in traffic on I-395 in Washington D.C., the engine shut off when I was going about 15 mph. There were tons of people behind me and by the grace of god we did not get hit. This continues to happen. I have had several components replaced but the problem still persists. I have seen complaints about this issue on several websites with no solution.
