As of the first day we drove home, as our home is only 5 blocks away we experienced transmission shifting problems. we took it right back, and they claim no problem we just did a computer re-flash and update it all better. However this particular dealership they are known to lie about everything we are still experiencing shifting problems, I went to AAMCO they say yes it has a problem but they claim they can not specify the problem since I still have the manufactures warranty under the transmission, why is my tranny and dealership , and Chrysler not helping. Till this day we still have many problems with this LEMON. From 8/8/2010 till today 9/8/2013 and still on going, why will the government not step in, O sorry I know why the dealership and government are in each others pockets just like the utilities companies. And you wonder why honest hard working people turn their back, start helping us the people. FIX my dam LEMON.

Update from Jun 29, 2015: brought the car to a new dealer security dodge in Amityville NY they claim on the tech sheet, can not duplicate the problem, this dealer seems to be very nice, they told me to bring it back where I can test drive it with a technician to diagnose the problem, once I do that I will come back and update.

This is the second transmission problem. The first time, (previously reported on carcomplaints) the dealer pulled the transmission, found and replaced a broken part, and reassembled and reinstalled the transmission. Perhaps they didn't find all the broken parts or damage. This second time, the car was taken to a different dealer (we were on a trip with the family, of course) where they replaced the transmission with a factory re-manufactured transmission. I'm crossing my fingers that there are no more problems. Fortunately, the repair was covered under the standard warranty.

I took the van to the dealer. It sat there for 7 weeks. finally they said they replaced some parts. I opened a case with Chrysler. In the 7 weeks, I was assigned 9 different case managers. Now they asked me to email the receipt for the rental car, I did but can not get a hold of any of the 9 assigned case managers.

This really stinks. a van with this low millage with this kind of problem? I am very disappointed. 4 years ago, I bought my GMC Envoy, and had a problem with the over-drive module. The company fixed it in 3 days and extended my bumper to bumper warranty for an additional 30,000 miles and threw in oil changes for the same period.
