This is a problem since the first day I got the van. Listen to this story. Right away I noticed that when I go in reverse, up a very very slight grade, the van makes small jerky moves and whines. The transmission just doesn't feel right (like it's slipping). When I go downhill, I can feel it shift and makes a clunk. Of course, within a month or so, I took it to the dealer. The automotive specialist checked it out, drove it and recreated the situation. The automotive specialist agreed, that, yes somethings wrong with the tranny. A new transmission was ordered and I took the T & C in to get fixed. After much work, the automotive specialist, removed the parts and began to replace them. Then somebody told him to put it all back together. because (now, get this) he said that's the nature of the vehicle. I was not there, or I would have sat on top of the van until it got fixed. Someone brought it home to me and told me the news. So, there you go, not fixed.
