Town & Country Limited 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

This is a problem since the first day I got the van. Listen to this story. Right away I noticed that when I go in reverse, up a very very slight grade, the van makes small jerky moves and whines. The transmission just doesn't feel right (like it's slipping). When I go downhill, I can feel it shift and makes a clunk. Of course, within a month or so, I took it to the dealer. The automotive specialist checked it out, drove it and recreated the situation. The automotive specialist agreed, that, yes somethings wrong with the tranny. A new transmission was ordered and I took the T & C in to get fixed. After much work, the automotive specialist, removed the parts and began to replace them. Then somebody told him to put it all back together. because (now, get this) he said that's the nature of the vehicle. I was not there, or I would have sat on top of the van until it got fixed. Someone brought it home to me and told me the news. So, there you go, not fixed.

Town & Country Touring Plus V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200 miles

I purchased this LEMON from Town & Country Jeep Chrysler Dodge In Nassau County, NY. Located on Hempstead TPKE.

I made my purchase in 2010. I have a lemon. You want proof? I will prove it to anyone email me I will give you the facts. Only had 200 miles on it and the tranny slipping, the door lock switch not working I have many other problems however these are the 2 major problems.

The dealer ordered parts we will see what they fix. When I spoke to the GM his attitude was "well, once you drove it off the lot it became your problem." Then he said "I don't care." <--- his exact words! My advice to anyone dealing with this dealer is to bring a tape recorded and record your conversations, awful!

Update from Sep 13, 2012: Ok so this vehicle has been serviced several times for just the transmission, and seems to have electrical problems and other major defects I had enought with Chrysler, I have currently contacted www.lemonlaw.com try it it is totaly free no matter the outcome. When I get an update I will reply back till then all you chrysler owners beware and good luck we all work hard and deserve what we payed for.
