I parked the car and went back to it and the front tire was flat, due to the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring) sensor had corroded, causing it to break off and the valve stem to go inside the tire and wheel of the car. A further inspection of the rest of the TPMS sensors revealed that the right rear TPMS sensor was also corroded and half broken, and could have snapped off while driving, causing an immediate blow-out of the tire and a potential crash/injury.
