The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the tire sensor, battery, and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed as a powertrain control module failure, which caused the battery and alternator to fail. The mechanic informed the contact that the powertrain control module needed to be replaced. The dealer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.
