Car Runs OK. Then won't start. After getting toed home ($65.00). a) test and charge battery. (possibly to be replaced). b) Fuel Pump Relay(needs to be tested) c) Fuse (TIPM) replace fuse box c) Fuel Pump under right side back seat d) Fuel Pump under left side back seat e) Replace Transmission Shifter (electronic) ($300.00)

What is happening 1) Car opens, toots, and lights go on, windows operate. 2) Push the start button, Car cranks, Engine tries to start, some fireing happen, Engine is in "Lame Mode". 3) Dash board message "Shifter Service needed".

Process 1) Order new Shifter - wait -. 2) Test Battery 3) Test Relay and fuse (fuel pump) 4) Charge Battery over night. Take to dealer for testing 5) wait

Update from Nov 2, 2020: OBD2 Code P 0850 A P0850 diagnostic trouble code means that the computer is not sure whether or not the transmission has been shifted into a neutral gear. Possible Causes What does this mean? Faulty Park/Neutral Switch Park/Neutral Switch harness is open or shorted Park/Neutral Switch circuit poor electrical connection

Update from Nov 2, 2020: Got new battery / battery was needed / didn't help problem / Ordered used shifter online Mopar no longer makes new part 68140727AD - Genuine Mopar SHIFTER-TRANSMISSION Ordered a cheaper used one ($159.00) and a suppose to be new one ($339.00) Go back to waiting

Update from Nov 3, 2020: 11/02/2020 Waiting or replacement parts in the mail. Bought one on Amazon (returnable) and a used one. After a bit of interneting, I should have called a dealer first.
