Attempting to pull out into traffic the vehicle did not accelerate and stalled with the front quarter of the vehicle in oncoming traffic. Vehicle was quickly put into park and reversed into safety.

9/03/15 my transmission went out without warning while going approx 65 mph on the highway. RPM's shot up and the trans went out instantaneously. I was able to pull over, engine and trans lights came on, car would not go in any gear. I shut the car off and was not able to restart it, meanwhile I sat like a sitting duck waiting for a tow truck, hoping that the speeding cars and semi trucks approaching would not crash into me. I had the car towed to a dealer. Dealer said the cause was a flashed PCM, it was reprogrammed I was told it fixed the problem. On 9/05/15 1 hour after coming home from work the car would not start again. Dealer was closed for the weekend so I let it sit for a while, 2 hours later the car started but would not go in reverse, an hour later, the car had reverse but no drive.the next morning the car started, all lights were off and all gears worked and I was able to drive it to the dealer. The dealer said codes were now showing it was the trans range sensor. Got the car back for the 2nd time on Sept.16. Sept.19 I was driving home from work in the next state, the trans went out again while going 65 mph on the highway again! this time I was left stranded over 70 highway miles from home. After waiting a few hours I was finally was able to drive home, taking take side roads in case the car stopped again. What should've been a 1 1/2 hour ride home on the interstate took me over 5 hours driving on side roads. This car is going back to the dealer again for the 3rd time in 2 1/2 weeks! this is unacceptable, there are too many reports involving this issue on several websites I do not feel safe driving this car anymore or having my wife and kids in it. This is an extremely serious safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately! something needs to happen before (not after) this "known" transmission stalling issue causes a serious accident and kills someone!

The gear shift is shifted into drive, the transmission delays shifting into gear. When it does shift into gear the car accelerates without pressing the gas peddle. This is the ddc transmission. This is happened at least 3 times

I purchased this vehicle Dodge Dart 12/23/2013 (428 miles). On 2/3/2014 started vehicle to head to work, put into gear (drive) pulled out into traffic, started to go, then transmission flashing on dash, stating gear not found. Could not shift the vehicle, wouldn't move. Had to be pushed out of traffic. Vehicle has been towed numerous times same ongoing problems to this date 9/18/2015. Lemon law was contacted.

I bought my car on May 6, 2013 and I have been taking my car to whitten brothers in ashland Virginia for all the service and repair work. On June 13, 2013 I had a recall done and all of the repairs started.the air bag wiring and harnesses replaced in June 2013. The turbo has been replace 4 times as of August 27, 2015. The waste gate actuator has been replace 3 times. 08/12/14 the vacuum sensor signal replaced power brake check valve and sadder and repaired 2 wires going to the vacuum sensor. Transmission control module has been replaced twice on 09/11/15. On 06/26/14 the cruise control switch was replaced but still does not work properly because the car is always having a problem which will stop it from working. On 06/26/14 the control panel was replaced. On 02/18/15 PCM radio wiring, right front door and subwoofer speakers replaced. On 08/27/15 front struts and back shock absorbers replaced. On 09/01/15 replaced battery and transmission light came on. I have recently had all the updates done on my car while its been in the shop and now I am tired of being taken advantage of by Chrysler. I should not have to lose thousands of dollars to trade or sell my car back to a dealer to get out of this nightmare. I want my car recalled back for a full refund because of the reoccurring problems I keep having. I have sent a lemon law letter to Chrysler on September 14, 2014 and put them on notice about all the problems with this car and demanded a buy back which in turn they gave me an extended warranty which has covered all the repair expenses. I also just settled a law suit with Chrysler through the law offices of krohn and moss in Chicago the lawyer did not pursue my case in court due to being out of state. So therefore, I only won $5,000 to cover the attorney fee of $3,500 leaving me $1,500. My total purchase price was $21,671 and that is what I am fighting for!

My Dodge Dart limited 2013 turbo 1.4 cylinder has so many problems when we bought it in may/2013, couple months after the squeaking noise, and driver's side electric windows not working, after one year the car is in the shop for 15 days for engine oil leak, and now is again in the shop for 5 months and no solution for transmission problems. The technician said is working but they not sure if it is a computer software or transmission defect. I want to know if someone can help me and or provide me with information. This car does not reach any star. Thanks..

I had to take my vehicle in for service in August of 2014 because my vehicle completely turned off on me while at a red light. When I turned the vehicle back on, my transmission engine light came on. So I immediately took my vehicle to the dealership and they told me I had a transmission issue and they had to order a part for the transmission. I had to take my vehicle in for service again in February of 2015 because my vehicle turned off on me once again while stuck in traffic on the expressway. When I turned on my vehicle the transmission engine light came back on. Again, I took my vehicle to dealership, I was told that my vehicle was again having the same issue from the previous months before. Once again I had to take my vehicle in for service on may of 2015 because my vehicle turned off on me for the third time while at a stop light but this time my vehicle started to smell like it was burning oil. When I turned on my vehicle, my oil pressure light came on. When my car was being looked at, they told me that they did not find anything wrong with my vehicle and they also stated that " something worse had to happen to my vehicle for them fix the problem." They test drove my vehicle and they did not find anything wrong with the vehicle so it was returned to me. Something is definitely wrong with this vehicle if it keeps on shutting off on me while waiting at a red light and also smelling like burning oil and for them to tell me that nothing is wrong with my car this last visit is really upsetting. All of these scenarios have happened in less than a year of purchasing my vehicle.this is very scary and something needs to be done before this causes a crash or possibly death! I sent a letter to Chrysler about this situation, and they told me that there is nothing they can do because there is no recall on my vehicle. This is so sad.

We've had issues with the car since day one of driving it off the lot but the dealership didn't want to do their job here about 3 months ago we were in the process of moving and my fiancee had the car floored I thought for sure my family was going to lose their lives because the car didn't have the power to speed up its not the first time and my family lives comes first we've tried getting it resolved and even tried to use it as a trade it at another dealership and they refuse to even touch it the car had already 43000 miles on it when we drove it off the lot and 5 days after having it the shifter cable popped off and since then its been problems after problems and there's so much more wrong with it and since June its been sitting I refuse to have my family hurt do to a malfunctioning car my fiancee [xxx] name is also on the paperwork from dealership amongst we've contacted attorney general Dodge Chrysler mopar and deal with reinkes and findlay Dodge for things one this car. When getting into my car in the morning or after work (any time the car has been sitting for a while), the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor and doesn't come back up. I cannot put my car into gear or even start the car. I have to pump the clutch pedal for a few minutes until I have a little pressure to even start my car. My car stalled out twice from this when entering a parking garage and I almost hit another car because of this. After driving the car for 2-3 miles the clutch seems to come back to normal pressure and I can shift fine at that point.

When starting to slide on ice the anti lock breaks kicked in but the engine stalled for a second and all of the electronic dash went out. No speedometer no stereo nothing was on it seemed but when I let off the brakes and allowed the car to slide again everything came back on.

The turbo in the car was fixed but the dealer (walser hopkins Dodge) failed to address the issue regarding the instrument cluster until 12,000 miles later.

Engine light came on while driving noticed a failure in power when stepping on the gas felt no go with the turbo. Stopped to have vehicle checked at advance auto diagnostic indicator stated turbo failure. Vehicle had not reached 36000 miles.

As I was approaching a traffic signal, my car lost power and did a half shut off (lost power items, but did not actually lock the steering out as if the car was in park). I was still moving and was doing approx. 20-25 mph when this happened. My power steering, brakes, etc were all lost and there was an overwhelming sound coming from the stereo system (sounded like a bomb going off in the car.). I was able to get the car stopped and pulled over to a turn lane that was not in use without getting hit. Once I got the car stopped, it started back up and I was able to take the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer has not been able to diagnose the problem. This is not my first issue with the car. It also has had 'service transmission' errors and gave us numerous issues on christmas day as it would not start when we were headed home. Each time, the dealership was notified and they had the car for 92 days while they rewired the electrical system. These cars are not safe, even after having the electrical rewired, the car is still sending error messages and now shutting down while driving it. These need to be recalled.

When we are driving the car, it will start to shudder when the check engine light comes on and within a minute the ABS system will turn on. When the ABS system turns on, you can actually feel the braking trying to stop the car. This has happened at all different speeds, from 20 to 30 mph up to highway speeds at 70 mph. You cannot shut of the ABS system with the safety switch when it turns itself on. We have pulled over, turned the engine off and restarted the car. This does not always seem to work. We have turned off the ABS system when we have started the car, but the computer in the engine will override this and has turned it back on. When that happens, it starts to try braking again while we are driving down the road. We have had the car back to the dealership several times trying to get this resolved, but they have not been successful in solving this problem. The dealership has called Chrysler to find out what to do about this problem. They were told to change the ignition coil power pack, which they did. When the car was returned to us, it started this same problem again. The last time we took it in (April 2015) the dealership kept it for two weeks and was unable to recreate the problem. Since that time it has done this to us twice, but before we could get it to the dealership for repair, it corrected itself. Has anyone else had this problem?

I always let my car warm up, especially when it's cold. The weather started to get better and twice I stopped at a red light and the car almost stalled. I had to put the car in neutral and pump the gas to stop it from stalling completely. I know it's not the gas because it happened within two different time periods. At the time the temp was in the low 30's. I also notice when it's very cold the car makes a screech when it's started. Although there is a power train recall (N32) my VIN has not been addressed. I do not want to drive down the street and stall with my two-year-old in it.

I started having headaches shortly after purchasing the vehicle (2013 Dodge Dart). The headaches continued to worsen, so I finally went to the doctor, had ct scan and was finally diagnosed with having migraines. I wasn't aware that it was the car until it was in the shop for repair for recirculating air issues and I didn't drive it for a week (December 2014). Once we received the car back from the dealership (not fixed) I was really sick (horrible migraine) the next day due to the fumes. I haven't rode in the car since December 19, 2014. I haven't had a migraine since around December 20-21, 2014. The car was dropped off on January 2, 2015 by my husband because the check engine light came on and to have the recirculate air fixed. The vehicle was ready on January 8, 2015 but was not picked up until January 9, 2015. On January 9, 2015, my husband picked the car up and drove it around for little while. He then went to pick our daughter up from school and she begin coughing immediately because the recirculate air went out again. I have contacted Dodge customer service several times regarding this vehicle and to no avail. I contacted them today (January 9, 2015) and they wanted us to drive the car back to the dealership for repair. I guess they want the fumes to cause someone to pass out along the way. Dodge customer service is having a case manager review my complaint, however, I am stuck with a vehicle that I cannot drive. I contacted the lienholder to surrender the vehicle on March 5, 2015.
