The vehicle braking system will start alerting the driver to brake when not necassary. Alarm will sound in the vehicle, and Dashboard will start flashing "BRAKE" multiple times. it did break automatically once while driving, children were present in the vehicle. I am concerned if the vehicle brakes on it own it cause an accident. FCA has sent out a notice that our vehicle VIN is not one that is effected but we are having the same problems.

I was driving on I75 North in Florida near Ocala (exit 358) traveling about 70mph when I approached slowing traffic. I attempted a slow and steady stop without slamming on the brakes. The emergency braking system engaged but the vehicle failed to stop and I was not able to completely floor the brakes. In an effort to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of me and causing a multiple car collision I swerved onto the grassy side of the road. Because the car would not stop completely my passenger front wheel made contact with a concrete ditch and my vehicle flipped over resulting in a total loss.

This is the 4th time in 2 weeks that the ABS system freaked. I was driving and reached 70mph and it randomly will start slowing kick on the check engine light. Blinks and then throws on the abs warning light. This has happened in summer and the 1 time it has rained day before. The system than alerted me to start/stop engine turn off and turn back on. I did do this. This happens though WHEN I am driving. The sensors go off, a few days later. It will happen again. This is extremely dangerous ! I made a video of it this past time

Our Dodge Durango GT, has developed a loud pop sound when coming to a full stop. I took it to ancira Dodge in san antonio, they advised me the calipers are hitting brake pads and there is nothing they can do. I feel this is a safety issue and Dodge again does not want to help. Our truck has barely 21,787 miles and I'm having so many issues with this defective vehicle.

This letter is a written notice to Dodge/Chrysler corporation that I am tired of the way they are treating me. I purchased a 2018 Dodge dealer GT, with only 2,800 miles. It was a dealer demo and it has been nothing but problems. Starting from inside of interior falling apart, which was fixed by dealer. However, at 8,000 miles or so the engine started developing an intermittent rattle, that has gotten worse over time. I have tried communicating with Dodge with very little help. Right now I have an open case with Dodge but so far my case manager has not been any help. My engine is getting damaged, and last time I took truck to dealer for service the service advisor told me they would not open engine to look into engine without engine light. Dodge is treating me bad. The truck even turned of while driving but that was only once, who knows of later it will happen again. I feel this truck is a big safety issue that Dodge is simply just ignoring.

My vehicle only has 17,500 miles on it and the brakes are constantly squeaking. I've cleaned the rotors, but it still makes this god awful squeak. The brakes should be good for another 25,000 miles, but I don't think it's going to make it.

"brembo break pads" I purchased my vehicle in October of 2018, I was quoted for new brake pads all around at 9000 miles in June of 2019. After finding out about the manufacture warranty, I was told that I only need rear brake pads replaced now. (note: There is less then 1mm on rear pads currently and 4mm on the front pads), I told the manager at rydell that, I believe the braking system is defective. I have never herd of replacing the brake pads on a brand new vehicle this soon. I called three different dealers and they find it weird that I have to change the brakes already with only 9000 miles on the car. Mind you, I am the first owner of this vehicle and when I purchased it, it had 300 miles on the car already. The manager, rick guzman at rydell in san fernando even went as far as to accuse me of racing my vehicle. However, shouldn't balding tires coincide with that accusation? everything on my vehicle is the same as it was when I drove of their lot in October of 2018. There is no way, after putting 8,700 miles on my own, that I should need to change all four brake pads on a brand new vehicle. And the dealer is now fighting me to only change the brakes in the rear. I believe all four pads should be changed out. With the rear pads at 1mm and the front pads at 4mm, something sounds really wrong. The vehicle is not even a year old yet !

I went through cheetah car wash with my 2018 Dodge Durango and upon exiting the car wash and receiving green signal to drive I shifted from "N" to "D" and started slowly driving toward the vacuum cleaning area. As I was slowly pulling into the parking lot, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and hit the post and building, causing it to stop. I called the police to the scene and they had the vehicle towed to basham towing service in bowling green, ky. Please investigate this vehicle for mechanical failure, because if this had happened on interstate, this could have ended way worse. I found information online that Dodge Durango has been having a number of similar issues.
