2 summers in a row we have recharged the AC and they cannot find a leak with dye test. AC sorta runs thru summer but after few months stops working even though it has freon. Getting frustrated that no one seems to be able to find problem

Took my van in on Apr 2015 since the front AC went out and engine lights were coming on. Dealer replaced blower motors and charged almost $3,000. Two months later front AC goes out again and strange clicking noise can be heard in the front left side when driving slow. Took it back again and manifold was supposedly cracked and now the wire harness and TIPM needs to be replaced. Cost for the manifold $640, harness and TIPM was $5000.

I returned to pick up my vehicle after 3 days and the noise was still evident as I drive off the lot. I returned to complain and stated that they must not have heard the noise. They offered to check it for free (of course they should) but not until four days later. It will probably end up costing me thousands more. We have had so many problems with this vehicle and have put in so much money for repairs. This is the worst car I have ever owned. It has ruined my perception of dodge and I will never buy or recommend dodge vehicles to anyone ever again. Customer service was also horrible and when my car is serviced my vehicle is returned in a worse condition than when I dropped it off.

This is ridiculous, with this many complaints logged, makes you wonder about the # not rec'd. Hot air only, put in Freon, also stop leak, too many possibilities to start narrowing down. So disappointed in Dodge!

1st of all the AC only has cool air on drivers side vents, the passenger and rear vents blow room temp or warm air. Already did this once before, recharged the AC. 2 months later, same thing. When the van was recharged the air came out cool, not cold in the passenger and rear vents. Also makes a hissing noise once in awhile when running AC that seems to be coming from upper center part of dash, inside the van.

Just wondering if Dodge recalled the AC parts. I'm having the same problems that countless others on this post talked about. We noticed leakage and the AC only blows hot air. Just purchased the car used and the dealer won't repair it for free.

ac simply wet out the very same day it was pumping ice cold air out while going to sea world with the family. No ruptured lines or exterior damages visible. had this since it had 96k miles on it in june, 3 months later this, than the brake pads went out soon after with less than 12k on them, and now coolant/heater hose leaking on the exhaust manifold....cant wait to trade into something actually PLANNED out, not sketched up.

Driving my van one day air conditioner worked great, went from 90 degrees in van to arctic temp in under 2 minutes. took it in to dealer to have recall of module occupant restraint replaced. Did not turn on a/c on the way home. Parked my car at home left for 10 days, came home to hot weather, started my van turned on a/c and nothing but ot air blows... took it into dealer to find out if they forgot to hook something back up? Was informed by dealer that they did not work in or near the area of the a/c, they informed me that my compressor quit working possibly due to a faulty a/c line!! REALLY my vehicle has 44500 miles on it!! My cost will be $1100.00 to fix. After a little research I see am not the only have to have this problem. It appears the a/c becomes defective between 35,000 -55,000 miles. Dodge should be fixing this problem not the consumer. I have found over 100 complaints on this specific problem in the less than 45 minutes on the internet. How many more are there, and how many have gone unreported?

the air conditioner stopped blowing in the front of the van, once the (hvac) drain grommet leak started. the blower in the back of the van works, but the front blower doesn't work at all, which is inconvenient to drive around in the Texas heat. This problem only started happening after the leak. Shame on you for selling products, that are inferior, and the worst part is the money you charge for the inferion product that you manufacture. It is obvious that you should repair this problem, since it is clearly a problem you caused..

The airconditioner stopped working after Chrysler recalled cars because of HVAC drain grommet replacement. Dodge indicated that a brake problem could occur if leakage was not repaired. The problem occured in May just when the weather starts to get hot in Texas. It is obvious that the HVAC recall is related to the air conditioning problem since the air stopped working around the same time. It is a real concern for consumers that Chrysler has inferior products, and charge such outrageous prices for their cars. The air is working in rear of the car fine, but there is no air in the front, because the drip caused by the drain grommet . Chrysler needs to take responsability and recall the vehicles and repair this air problem.

Moved from a warm location to a much colder city during the winter. After a cold night, the rigid AC line running behind the radiator snapped emptying all the refrigerant onto the roadway. Did some research and found this to be a common problem but no recall from company.

Well I live in Tx and during the winter my wife told me that the A/C stopped working and I did not think much about it and now that is it HOT here I am not happy. The air puts out only hot air and down by the gas pedal hot air blows out from some where. Even with the A/c and Heater turned off it blows hot air. I am SO sick of this VAN I mean first the brakes then the right hand sliding door is messed up and then the A/C come on DODGE get it together. We buy the VAN FOR A FAMILY THAT MEANS IT SHOULD BE MADE FOR FAMILIES AND NOT FOR A JUNK YARD. I THINK THEY SHOULD DO A RECALL FOR THE WHOLE DANG VAN AND FIX EVERYTHING.

Sure is funny we had the dealership replace the HVAC DRAIN GROMMET under recall earlier this year (during winter) and the first time I go to use the AC this summer, it won't cool. Took it in and it is the AC discharge hose leaking. 220.00 to fix UGH

The doorway hose and the compressor hose are both defective and my warranty is expired. It's going to cost over $400 to fix because my a/c also needs to be recharged. In most parts of the country, this wouldn't really matter right now cause they're still using their heater, but I live in El Paso & the temps have routinely been over 80 degrees for the last month and a half. I have 3 kids that are strapped in and the only air they get is what comes through the front windows or from the little cracks the back windows let in. This is something that needs fixed asap and I don't have an extra $400+ lying around. This is the 5th Dodge vehicle my husband and I have owned and I honestly don't know if we'll buy another one after all the issues we've had with this van.
