While driving down the road at slow speed in the neighborhood, the car randomly shuts off. The power steering, the power brakes and the engine stop working. It is happening now more frequently - twice today and my wife and kids nearly had a head on accident. Luckily the other car was able to swerve to miss our van otherwise there would have been a head-on. I took the car to my dealership several times over the last few months based on a recall notice that was issued for the van. I was told that they do not have the parts to fix it and that they have no idea when the parts will be available. How many people need to be hurt by this issue before they start delivering the parts to fix it?

Intermittent problems that are becoming much more frequent almost daily with car not starting when the key fob is turned. Key fob seems loose and turns easily but nothing happens. I have to turn back to off, pull fob out, place back in, try to restart, usually multiple time and usually by about the 10th time the planets align and it starts as if nothing is wrong. I took it to the dealer, thankfully it would not start for them and then it finally did. They said that the wireless electric ignition node had to be replaced and that this problem was not related to the recall issue with the key fob and putting to much stuff on the key chain.

Horns blaring, wipers going, washer fluid squirting rear wiper moving and washer fluid spraying. Car just came back after four weeks at dealer that could not find problem, with Chrysler star assistance the customer assistance replaced the ignition module and two key fobs. Did not fix original problem. I have logged over forty hours of phone conversation talking to Chrysler customer case managers and supervisors as well as dealer service advisor, service manager and mechanics. There has been a complete disconnect between normal human caring and the robot like customer service. I am not sure how people can sleep at night after telling families to keep driving these unsafe vehicles that stall while driving. Lawyers after punitive damages only don't take cases for vehicles that were produced before Chrysler S bankruptcy. I don't blame them. Tipm modules seem to be recalled for vehicles after bankruptcy. I wonder if people remember 1994 Dodge Caravan rear latches. Same old Chrysler profits before human lives.

Keys don't work, I don't want to buy new ones until you fix the L5/NHTSA 14V-373 recall. Plus I am afraid to drive it around now that I have my grandson in the car every day. What should I do now. One key works on an off so I am getting around but the whole airbag thing on the recall freaks me out a little. Do you help in rental cost for a temp replacement.
