The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving 60 mph or various speeds, the vehicle spontaneously shut down, but was able to be restarted. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to cullman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (300 benchmark way, cullman, al, (256) 615-2563) where it was diagnosed that the wireless ignition module needed to be replaced. The repair would cost approximately $900; therefore, the contact declined the repair. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 100,300.

The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving over unleveled land, the vehicle experienced a complete lost of power without warning. The vehicle was taken to northtown Chrysler Dodge Fiat (2020 niagara falls blvd, tonawanda, NY) where it was diagnosed that the wireless ignition node module failed. The failure was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
