back at dealership again. It is awful being without a car. They said it was a factory warranty extension on this brake problem yet agian but this time it cost me a $100..00 deductible out of my pocket. It looks like dodge could do something about this problem because having brakes replaced every 5000 to 7000 miles is going to get expensive and it is uncalled for.

Purchase our 1st 2010 Dodge Journey 12/12/2009 owned it for 9 month after many trips to Dodge to try and get Brakes and Rotor problems corrected they just kept giving me the run around. Even tried to blame it on the way I drive and brake!!! Like idiots we thought we just got a dud so traded it in on another Journey 2010 what a stupid mistake. The day we drove car off of the lot the brakes were roaring,500.00 for new tires already and roaring has started again. Chrysler replaced front rotors and brakes last year which I had to pay 50.00 instead of replacing all 4 now will have to pay 100.00 for a mistake which is theirs. Can't even get rid of this car owe more than what it is worth. Ready to contact an attorney and fight them on this. We have even spoke with the Chrysler rep and he makes stupid excuses for every problem. They need to step up and make this right or they are going to be in financial ruin again.

It was recalled on the brakes, we brought it in to the dealership to have it repaired. they finished the repairs and it stayed well for about 2,000 miles and now we're at 23,000 and it's worse than ever. We will have to pay out of our pockets to have this taken care of and we should not have to.

Journey SXT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 13,000 miles

Front Brakes were vibrating bad. I took it in and they said they resurfaced the front rotors at 13,000 no charge. At 19,000 it started all over again. This time they had to replace rotors all 4 cost me $100. I love dodges but the safety of my family comes first. I am now looking into getting rid of it. I haven't even had it a year. It really is a shame that Dodge would jeopardize so many innocent people just to sell a car. Is it really worth someone getting killed just to make that sale?

I've had my car for 8 mos and the brakes have vibrated almost the whole time. I've taken the car to the dealership to have it looked at a couple of times, but they never find anything wrong with it. I am dealing with other problems as well and am thinking of getting a new car.

I bought a used 2010 Journey with 18000 miles on it and there is a vibration in the steering wheel when braking. I read numerous reviews and complaints regarding the brakes and rotors needing replaced and will take it to a shop and get whatever needs to be done fixed and then I am writing Dodge and sending a copy of my bill!
