I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4.7 V-8. the vehicle has a tendency to stall and idle low. At random times, the truck has a wild fluctuation at idle, surging from 400rpm to 1300 RPM for approx 15 seconds before the computer corrects the idle. I took the truck to the dealer and they were not able to find any problems with the vehicle.
