Ford is not making their cars reliable anymore. My 2018 Ford Escape has been recalled three times in there years and has also been in for a computer related problem. This is unacceptable. I have previously reported the first two recall problems on this site and they want each problem entered separately. The third recall is for a transmission cable that may make the car roll away endangering people and property even if the car is off and no one‘s in the vehicle.

The lemon laws need to be strengthened and enforced strictly, the automobile companies are getting away with it they know exactly what to do to avoid paying and accepting responsibility for automobile failures. This Ford Escape was recalled three times in three years and there’s nothing that could be done to hold them responsible. The problem is the lemon laws only covers a vehicle for two years or 18,000 miles that’s it nothing more this must be changed the length and the time holding automobile manufacturers responsible.

I purchased this 2018 Ford Escape Brand New hoping for no problems for at least five years and have had nothing but problems since the day of purchase.

Ford is not making their cars reliable anymore. My 2018 Ford Escape has been recalled three times in there years and has also been in for a computer related problem. This is unacceptable. The first recall is a powertrain module in 2020. The service manager advised me that my free oil changes which were included as a VIP member when I purchased the car we’re no longer going to be granted. I asked him why and was it retaliation due to my complaint of the blown engine because there’s no other reason. I have it in writing the VIP members get free oil changes for lifetime with no exceptions, free towing and free loaner cars, which was given upon the purchase of this new vehicle.
