Brake pedal suddenly got soft. Warning light came on. There was a high level audio alert. Luckily no one killed or damage to property since I was approaching my driveway. I checked the fluid level in brake reservoir. It was very low. Added DOT4 to about FULL. Drove around in my back driveway area carefully. After a few pedal pumps, I got an audio/visual warning again. Brake fluid level was again low. Checked underneath vehicle. No obvious leaks. So apparently it's leaking into booster and either sitting in there or engine is swallowing it. Don't know if booster is damaged or can be saved. This just happened a couple of hours ago so I don't know next step(s).

In the last 2 hours, I have found several comments about this exact problem. This is EXTREMELY dangerous. This part and related brake parts should be built to aircraft standards and outlast the rest of the vehicle. Has no one been killed or injured yet??? Is anybody listening?

Same scenario as list in 2016 model describing master cylinder failure. When I was a few block from home, the low brake fluid warning light flashed. I check fluid and it was below the minimum line, so I filled it with fluid and test drove in the neighborhood. The next morning the brake pedal went to the floor and the fluid reservoir was empty.

After reading the 2016 experiences, I decided it was not wise to drive the few mile to the dealership and I plan to have it towed.
