Expedition Limited EL 5.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,215 miles

I bought a brand new 2017 Ford Expedition Limited EL, only after which i had issues with my battery dying in my 2006 Chevy Silverado which i had the same issues, battery dying only after tow days of not driving it. I bought this Chevy brand new as well and it only had 63,000 miles on it when i traded it in.

I took it to several mechanics all of which told me nothing was wrong it it that could cause the battery to die. So, instead of taking a risk of being stranded somewhere with no way of getting it jumped again I traded it in. Now i ma having the same issues with the Ford Expedition Limited EL 2017. Both vehicles are garage kept and yet the garage is insulated so no extreme heat or cold temps. I am now seeing that there was no reason to trade my truck in when now I am experiencing the same issue!!!!!!!

This is the first time owning a Ford, now i wonder if it was a vehicle issue or not. When I lock the vehicle i make sure nothing is on in the interior, no fans are running, nothing electrical is on. So, WHY THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING???????? Oh and I had my oil changed by the local dealership where I bought it, and now when it runs there is a rattle sound underneath. So great, some moron so called mechanic screwed with it.

WHY DOES MY BATTERY KEEP DYING???? Yes, I use the remote to lock it and make sure nothing is on or running before I close the garage door. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue????? The fuses are fine nothing is tripped, but something has to be draining the battery. The flooring in the garage is asphalt so I know it's not draining the battery like concrete does. I just need to know if someone else is having this issue and if they found a solution.
