The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the contact noticed blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe. The contact also stated that the vehicle shutoff independently. The vehicle failed to accelerate above 25 MPH. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road and restart the vehicle. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer. The contact was informed that the turbo supply line had failed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 74,000.
