Fuel and additives which do not meet the minimum lubrication, cooling, and anti-corrosion properties required by the high pressure fuel system components may cause symptoms including, but not limited to crank no start, long crank hard start, runs rough, low power, engine knocking, exhaust smoke, and or fuel rail pressure slow to build. The Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 310-00E has been updated to include service procedures to address fuel system contamination.
