Some 2021 F-150 vehicles built on or before 29-Jan-2021 and equipped with a console gear shift lever may exhibit a condition where the gear shift lever is unable to come out of the park position. Some vehicles may also exhibit the gear shift lever stow function is delayed or inoperative. This may be due to software in the gearshift module (GSM). To correct the condition, reprogram the GSM.
