Some 2021 F-150 vehicles may experience an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3000:48 stored in the ABS module. The U3000:48 DTC in the ABS module typically sets in conjunction with various chassis DTCs. When addressing related ABS concerns, all chassis DTCs are to be diagnosed and resolved first using Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 206-09, before attempting to diagnose and resolve any network communication DTCs.
