I have had several mec. and private car dealers say the 03 model has a big problem with this sort of thing. If we hadn't already put so much into it i would have just gotten rid of the stupid thing.

F-250 Lariat 6.0L Diesel

Ford dealership w/ certified mechanic cannot diagnose the specific problem to repair. They say it "could" be the HPOP that will take several thousand dollars to diagnose. I have asked Ford to reimburse me for these repairs because the problem is not fixed. Ford has not responded. I have lost thousands of dollars on this poor engine design. Stay away from the 6.0 L diesels. They are junk!!!
