I was Getting on I-95 N from Benson, NC with speed limit of 70mph. While I was still accelerating and just merged in traffic, going about 65-70mph, my 2014 F250 started doing the death wobble. The section of highway I was on has no shoulder or anywhere to pull off because they are doing construction on the shoulder and have concrete blocks maybe 6inches past the line. So I had no choice but to put on my brakes hard and slow down until the shaking stopped, which was bout 15-20mph. I-€™m very lucky I wasn-€™t rear ended or in an accident because of the death wobble. My 12 week old baby girl was also with me in the truck at the time

I was going about 55 mph I was going on a right curve and hit a small bump in the roadway. My truck began to violently shake and I feared that I was going to wreck and lose control. I was driving on the highway over a bridge and the truck started wobbling uncontrollably when I hit 55. The scary part is you couldn-€™t really control the vehicle when it was wobbling like that. So the next day we went and bought me shocks for the front and back and it-€™s doing this.

The truck developed a "death wobble" about a year ago. Over the past year the death wobble has happened almost every single time we have drove it. We have had multiple diesel mechanics look at it numerous times. We have replaced all the tie rod ends, drag link, steering stabilizer, track bar and track bar bushing. When the truck starts shaking, the driver has to immediately engage the breaks, running the risk of being rear ended and risking losing control of the truck. No warning lights have displayed throughout this time. The shaking has happened when driving between 35-55 mph, while the truck is alone and also once while pulling a horse trailer, loaded with horses- posing severe risk to the horses and passengers in the truck. The truck is available for inspection if need be.

The truck is scheduled to go in to a Ford Dealer Sept 27, 2022. The steering became unmanageable changing lanes at 50 miles an hour. I was almost impossible to controll the truck due to uncontollable shaking. If someone had been beside us we would have crashed. I am afraid to ride in the truck because there isn't any warning this is going to happen. I was literally scared to death. From my research it is called the death wobble. Consumers should not be responsible for paying for repairs for defective equipment they didn-€™t cause. And, most importantly, truck owners should not have to worry about potentially being injured or killed in an accident or harming someone else. this has happened several times with my husband when I wasn't in the truck and I had no idea how serious it is.

I was driving down the road, going about 45-50. Hit a small bump and the truck started shaking to the point that I had to pull over immediately. Took it to a shop, everything is tight and in working order. As a precaution the tech replaced the shocks. This worked for a few days. On my way to work (7/23/2022), going about 45-50, the shaking happened again. I pulled over to stop it and not to injure other drivers on the road. Starting doing research and found that these Ford trucks are notorious for what is called the "Ford Death Wobble". Although the shocks are less than 4 months old the shaking is occurring more frequently and with more intensity.

While breaking quickly due to another group of vehicles suddenly breaking, my truck began to shake violently similar to symptoms noted in the repeated reports concerning death wobble. My tires have less than 10,000 miles and the truck has had the alignment checked in the last 12 months. It is important to note that the steering shook so violently that it came out of my hands. This could have caused a major accident or worse for a less skilled motorist.

UNKNOWN! This is the 2nd Ford F250 that I've purchased brand new. I had no clue what the issue was until visiting with fellow Ford F250 owners. Low and behold, the "Ford Death Wobble". I don't understand WHY there has NOT been a recall on this before now. After researching, I've learned there was even a class action lawsuit filed against Ford in 2019! What on earth is wrong with FORD?! I love my truck, but not enough to continue buying a Ford product knowing this is an issue that they don't want to fix!!! I'm so glad I was informed by friends with the same issues and know it's not just "an alignment" issue! Shame on you Ford for refusing to address or acknowledge this issue!!!!! I pray that I don't have an accident due to the "death wobble" that the Ford trucks have.....but at least it is documented that I have the same issues that over 1200 other Ford truck owners have experienced and complained about......I wonder how many others are out there that don't know it's called the "death wobble" and they keep returning to have it repaired! I noticed this incident with my truck in 2015! How sad that it took nearly 7 years for me to discover the real issue!

I was driving on the highway at 70 miles per hour when I hit at what appeared to be a bridge expansion joint. And almost immediately started feeling some vibration. After about two weeks while I was driving about 65 mph on the the hiway, I almost lost control of the vehicle. I could hardly control the steering wheel as it was shaking so bad. I took the vehicle to an independent service center and it was diagnosed as the death wobble. Some parts were repleased but did not take care of the problem. There was no waring other than the shaking. Still cannot go over 50 mph without the vehicle shaking uncontrollably.

My 2014 Ford F-250 started developing a Death Wabble when on rough highways doing over 45mph. Three or four times I took it to Ford service Tucson at 22nd street and technician changed steering box, ball joints and generally looked it over. The other day the Death Wabble was every 5 miles on highway 83 which is a little rough but no potholes. Took the truck in yesterday and they couldn-€™t find a problem. Please be advised when this happens the truck is out of control. I need to hit my brakes to about 25 mph and the shaking then stops.
