Just like everyone else the complaint is that I was just told that the phaser needs replacing, The code P022--The cam shaft lifter retarded-- the mechanic can't even tell me what that means. Other than that, the phaser needs replacing. Bought the truck with 33,000 miles, three years later at 123,000 nothing but problems. I thought the only real problem is that I don't do any towing and the rear main seal leaks, started about a year ago, like what I am hearing from the others here, get rid of it. It's a good truck, but really need to look at options to just replace the engine, it's a shame the Ford doesn't man up about problems with their products unless the government tells them to fix the problem. This coming from a man whose mother spent 23 years at ford, her two brothers spent 30 and 35 years working for them also. And many Americans wonder why we don't buy American?
