This is the fourth time the heater blower fan has stopped working. The last 3 times it was taken to Ford for repair. From research and pulling the cabin filter out myself it is confirmed that moisture is entering the air intake and freezing in the blower motor area. I pulled out the saturated and frozen cabin filter, thawed the blower with a hair drier and had to replace the fuse to get it working. Since other reports of Ford fixes don't resolve the issue, I will have to devise a way to prevent moisture from entering the air intake area. Very disappointed in Ford, their lack of quality, and their lack of customer care.

Moisture builds up in the fan unit. If the outside temperature is below freezing, moisture turns to ice. Iced fan unit does not turn fan blades to heat the interior of the car. Ice remains on car windows. Car cannot be driven on public roads. On Wednesday January 11th 2017 the temperature warmed up above freezing and the fan started working again. The car cannot be driven without a functioning fan unit to circulate and heat the air inside the car defrosting the windshield and side windows. Here are the states that have snow removal laws: Alaska Connecticut Georgia Massachusetts Michigan New Hampshire New Jersey Pennsylvania Rhode Island Tennessee Wisconsin I work in one of these states and have to drive to two others in this list all Winter. Two years ago we had over 80 inches of snow and every winter we have below freezing temperatures for 4 months. This Ford Fiesta is not drivable without a working fan to clear the frozen windows and keep them clear for the duration of a trip. This is not acceptable.
